Really pleased for him and definitely should’ve won us a penalty yesterday …he hasn’t had a bad game for us for a while now and think should be cut a bit of slack by some …he looks more intimidating than he actually is but quite a few Charlton fans on train were saying they thought he was good for us

They brought on another Striker at HT and Alfie May dropped into the 10 position and floated about and caused us problems but even though it looked like it would lead to a goal May then started drifting out wide and playing deeper at times like a CM which I thought was odd but that first 20 in the second half they could’ve scored two to be honest I thought every single player without exception put there bodies in front of everything yesterday and was a proper team performance

Just after HT I was worried as May dropped deeper with the new striker who came on going up top I thought it was having an effect but for some reason it faded out and May was playing an odd midfield position like a free role I guess ….we rode that and then I didn’t think they troubled us much They do have some decent players and with a new manager I think they’re capable of nicking points off of anyone

Thought Ebou being in there with his presence nicking the odd ball and putting himself about helped both Max and Hourihane have a bit more time on the ball worked a treat we didn’t look soft in there

Watching Wildsmith today in the warm up reminded me of what a good goalkeeper he is I still think he has a part to play

Thought that was Joe Wards best game for us

Good hard fought 3 points well done and Posh losing a bonus

May has now dropped in as a 10 we need a change of shape

Sibley got better especially defensively as half went on and Ebou is just what we need

Sibley is not a LB or LWB hope NML not injured

Extra player in there who can tackle will help 👍🏻

Exactly this ….if we are losing so much money but yet being run so prudently are we ever going to get out of this mess we get fantastic attendances compared to most teams in L1 but it seems to count for nothing …

Just hope our lack of signings is to do with the financial state of our club and not that players don’t want to play for Warne ….we will never know that of course ….managers are influential

I do think us fans Simmo deserve a bit better …we pack out every away end and have fantastic support so b club should be a bit more honest with us I could honestly say if the club said we can’t afford to buy a striker at the quality we want then fair enough …but I thought we were lead to believe we had a few quid but now January has gone and nowt!!!
