Absolute rubbish …Hourihane is our deepest lying midfielder and picks up the ball from our centre backs at times …Max doesn’t tackle enough and at times the game by passes him yes Warne should’ve brought Thommo on earlier but Hourihane was on the edge of the box and scored goals …you wouldn’t have swapped Hourihane for Bird in that position if hourihane was younger you’d swap him and Bird about but Max needs to tackle ans if he’s not a CdM needs to score more he played well against Fleetwood but tonight was not at it when we needed him to be …

This team desperately needs a CM enforcer ….someone who will just sit in the middle of the pitch and be a presence that is not Max Bird ( no criticism of him ) good job we have Hourihane because I still think most teams in L1 would like him and he scored vital goals

TJJ A few times tonight noticeable nicks and touches and puts players under pressure and sometimes gets a nick or a touch including his flick on for our first goal when at first looks second to the ball

Some are saying go to 500k to get him I didn’t say it’s been officially stated by anyone

This is my original point CBT is not a bad player but I stick by original post and say I don't think he's worth 500K and who says he's in demand ? If decent Championship clubs wanted him we would probably be out of the equation but from what I've been hearing only a lower champ side is interested and I'm not sure at this stage if he'd shine in the championship so 500k would seem like a lot if he's only good enough to contribute to us getting out of L1 If it was say Brannagan from Oxford for 500K I'd be saying different and go for it because he does look really good and think he'd still be good in a league higher but this is only my opinion of course based on what I've seen but CBT is a gamble and I personally would only go to 300K maybe 350K at a push , I think he'd be a better option than Wilson so would mean he'd be on the bench
