  1. After shooting himself in the back 47 times. Seems to be a bit of a purge happening again.
  2. On topic. Andrei Morozov widely know by his milblogger handle Murz is dead. Murz was a pro-Russian milblogger who posted everything he heard from his contacts in the Russian military. He was actually one of the more realistic pro-Russian bloggers. A couple of days ago he declared that a minimum of 16,000 Russian troops were killed in the meatwaves attacking Avdiivka. Now he’s dead. Official line is suicide.
  3. As is natural in these situations, attention is fading as the war enters its third year and support for funding will invariably take a hit. The same will probably happen with the Palestine/Israel situation. The average person isnt directly affected despite the injustices and the desire to help fades. Now is the Navalny situation being milked by the media? maybe. But it’s also a pretty big international story in a country that’s currently occupying another, ahead of the Russian “election”, so some dedication to it is justified.
  4. Remember the Russian helicopter pilot who defected last year? Well he’s dead too! https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/russian-pilot-who-defected-ukraine-shot-dead-spain-reports-2024-02-19/
  5. Yeah Navalny was no saint and had plenty of problematic views. You could argue he could potentially be Putin-lite. I think the reason the press have bigged him up is two fold. One, everyone wants an alternative to Putin and weren't to fussy/didn’t look to deeply at his background and views. Two, even if you disagree with him you can’t help but be impressed with the bravery of a man that stood up against a genocidal tyrant, who doesn’t think twice against signing the death warrants of any opponents. He was always going to die if he opposed Putin and he still went ahead with it.l and stood up to him
  6. Indeed. In this particular war, one side can go home and live happily ever after, whenever they choose. The other side are home and are fighting for their right to exist.
  7. Indeed. But I’m not sure Chat GTP understands this………….yet!

  9. He’s the best of the out of contract options, shame we’re in this position, but got to try and make the best of it. He’ll bring some know how, experience and technical ability, I doubt he will have the legs for chasing around, or for a full 90 mins so that will have to be managed.
  10. His mouthy, puce faced assistant got booked as well..
  11. Well it’s 3 points and I’ll gladly take them…………but it was an absolutely dire game and our negative tactics at home are a bit concerning. You can counterbalance that by saying we’ve got no striker, but I wish we’d be a bit more positive at home. Bradley and Adams were our standout performers, Bradley silencing the critics and Adams completing a full 90 mins. Not much else to report, other than a tidy finish from Sibley, who should really be starting if we’re without a striker.
  12. Adams one of our few standout players and good to see him playing the full game
  13. Nice cross from NML and Sibbo guides it nicely into the corner. Bit of a let off but I’ll gladly take it
  14. First chance created Wilson almost overran it but keeps it and puts NML through for a half chance, but he blazes wide
  15. Personally I would have started with Wilson at RWB and Sibs at LWB to try and hurt them on the flanks as that’s where we look like having the most space.
  16. I don’t understand why we are clearly relying on our wing backs to be a crucial outlet against a narrow team and put Elder instead of Sibley
