  1. Gayle is looking very isolated, we just don’t have the players around him to utilise his talents.
  2. Good defending from Bird cuts out the danger. That back 3 is looking very shaky at the moment
  3. PV would have scored there if Nelson wasn’t switched on to clear it
  4. It’s all gone a bit scrappy. PV getting into the game but at the moment very poor in the final third. Got to get back on top here
  5. Yeah that “injury” was clearly to disrupt our flow
  6. Port vale’s keeper randomly throws himself on the ground stopping play
  7. Barks misses a bit of a sitter, NML flicks on Wards cross and Barks fires over
  8. Barks put NML in and the keeper saves at his feet, he gets the ball to bird who’s shot is saved by the keeper
  9. Great corner from Sibs Adams heads over. Should have scored
  10. Have to say their 16 year old looks like he might give Ward a difficult afternoon
  11. Get in Sibs shot took a deflection and goes in
  12. Yep, at home to Port vale one of those 3 CB’s needs to be sacrificed for an attacking midfielder as a minimum
  13. Hopefully it lines up in a more offensive shape than it looks on paper, but I must admit it’s a bit underwhelming.
  14. My guess is Wildsmith Nelson. Bradley. Cash ward. Adams. Bird Sibs NML. Barks Gayle
  15. Navalny‘s funeral was earlier. As you’d expect there was a Kremlin order for the media and public not to discuss it and a heavy police presence with a number of arrests.
  16. That was absolute tripe and the tactical decisions remain a mystery at times. However in the past we’ve been able to turn things around after bad results. I seriously hope we can do that again and soon as we’re seriously looking like going off the rails!
  17. Zelenskyy publicly declares Ukraines losses at 31,000. I’m guessing he’s doing this to put to bed the Russian propaganda that Ukrainian losses are equal to Russia’s 300-400k. Ukraine has been very tight lipped on this so it’s a big change. But it shows how much of this is an information war with Russia able to call upon vast troll farms. Also the situation in the US house would be a factor too, ahead of Novembers election. If the above number is true it would put the wounded in the region of 90-100k, some of those will be permanently out, many will return to the front lines when recovered. Obviously this doesn’t cover the Ukrainian civilian casualties that have been mounting from day one, which are also significant given Russia indiscriminate attacks. https://apnews.com/article/ukraine-troops-killed-zelenskyy-675f53437aaf56a4d990736e85af57c4
  18. Yep Adams was in the right channel with Bird, both had been tracking runners. Sonny Bradley was the only one alive to the situation and he was one of the furthest away so was never going to get there, but at least he tried.
  19. It was poor and a big opportunity missed against a team who worked hard but didn’t offer a huge amount in the final third. I think the thing that is most annoying is a mixture of the players not turning up, tactics being behind the curve and them clearly being a team we can beat. There’s still plenty to play for, but this was disappointing and concerning.

  21. Ultimately we are still second and we are in control of our destiny. However I fear today was a day where momentum went against us.
  22. To be fair I get why he didn’t start Gayle and you can’t really hold against Warne.
  23. Yes aside from scoring from a set piece. Which was the only time we looked a threat
  24. FT A fully deserved defeat for our poor player performances and tactical approach. Bit of a shambles really and nothing much positive other than Gayle getting some competitive minutes. You can’t go into a promotion 6 pointer and not lay a glove on them. End of story! Management and players need a long look in the mirror.
