    Gold. At least in short period of time. Might be different if you leave some special watch for your grand kid. Anyway I prefer to look at beautiful watches more than a tiny bar of gold. And they do tell the time too.

    You can get that Rolex here preowned from 2011 in mint condition at litlle over 5000 euros. And you won't lose money when you sell it.

    Would be a sound investment. Especially if you get one preowned in excellent shape. The value won't drop on those and even if you get a new one it drops only for a moment and starts to climb up again.
    I bought a Zenith last year and on Tuesday as I visited the store I bought it from I found out that the price has gone up 450 euros already.

    One of the downsizes of really liking high quality watches is that there will always be people who judge you by the brand, money used on them etc.

    If you got a genuine Tag Heuer for £90 that is like winning in lottery. Even if it is quartz. Hang on to it.

    Next time take the big ferry to Stockholm. Great view on the way and Stockholm is a beutiful place. Won't get sick on that ferry. At least because of the ferry.
