DESCRIPTION
It was with OMEGAâs maritime legacy in mind that the brand launched its Planet Ocean line in 2005. The stylish OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M pays homage to OMEGAâs dive watch heritage. This model, with its scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, features a black dial with a small seconds dial, a date window and a central chronograph hand. Sixty-minute and 12-hour counters are found on the same dial at the 3 oâclock position, allowing for intuitive reading of the elapsed time. The black ceramic unidirectional rotating diversâ bezel is mounted on a 45.5 mm stainless steel case on a stainless steel bracelet. The OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M is water resistant to 600 metres / 2000 feet / 60 bar, and has a helium-escape valve. This certified chronometer timepiece is powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial calibre 9300 which can be seen through the transparent caseback.

Loch Ness 'Hoppyness' IPA. Pint at The Alex. Very good, just the right amount of bitterness and a drying finish. 5%

THe C9 Harrison 5 day automatic looks an absolute beast, but it's chunky, 13.45 mm thick.

The Frederique Constant slimline, by comparison is only 5 mm thick but not automatic, obviously.

Lovely watch. Tried one on in an excellent jewellers in Nuneaton of all places. Fantastic range of stock, and some droolingly good pre-owned. The wife has got her eyes on a lovely old Rolex with stunning gold bracelet at an eye-watering
