Thoroughly enjoyed the Carnival Lampegat in Eindhoven at the weekend. Possibly the most bonkers weekend I've ever witnessed, even more mad than Newcastle away 2009. Almost everyone was in fancy dress and the beers flowed 24/7. I've been to Mardi Gras in New Orleans and that wasn't a patch on this, those Dutch are craaaazy! Highly recommended!

In some ways it’s been a good window - CBT, Adams and securing Bird to seasons end. But, if no striker is incoming, it does feel like a massive missed opportunity given the league position we are in. Surely there’s someone in a Premier U21 team who could do with league experience, or a fringe Championship striker than needs some game time?
