Nijul_cluff
What's to stop us making an improved bid? I doubt this one would have been our maximum, that's not how bidding works. The size of the boards pockets!
Srg
Our bidding is go low, make a big song and dance about trying to sign these players... Then sign Sammon.
Stedcfc
I'm pretty sure Sam Rush won't make the same transfer failings Tom Glick did. Glick was a commercial director playing transfer dealer.

Here's to hoping eh. Sam Rush seems a pretty decent bloke at the minute though.
Joel
Surprising that a selling club would go to the press disclosing bids...

-JW-
Bid rejected??? Yanks out!! I refuse to believe any of this until a Dundde Utd fan comes on here, makes a really long post saying that he is joining us, and telling us just how good he is and how much they will miss him. And then all you arselickers will give the guy 15+ likes.

Guest
I really hope we sign him! I'm all excited! Who is he again? I heard that he is as quick as ruel fox, but not good enough to follow in marlon harewoods footsteps, if that helps
randombc
A few Forest fans unhappy that we're going after him, and their not. They seem to really rate him and would give their side some much needed pace. Come on Johnny lad!
eranio20
Big club are Forest. We don't stand a chance if Sir Bill is after him.
notts_ram
If Dundee United know there's another 2 clubs interested they're hardly going to accept the first offer that has been tabled, right at the start of Scottish transfer window to boot. If they're clever they'll be using us a stalking horse to flush out bids from other clubs.
Srg
Depends. They sound like they desperately need cash and accepting one bid is likely to make others move.
Bridgford Ram
Send them Callum Ball on a season loan, worked to sweeten the Keogh deal.
Srg
How will we ever sign anyone else if we use that chip so early?!
notts_ram
Depends. They sound like they desperately need cash and accepting one bid is likely to make others move. Exactly what I said. All us bidding first is likely to do is to increase the likelihood of counter offers coming in from other clubs and raising the asking price. I hope we have some cash in reserve if the ante gets raised.
eddie
Don't forget Moor Farm! Everyone loves Moor Farm! He's Scottish. A frying pan, milk, eggs, flour and a Mars Bar will swing it.
North_Stand_Ram
They sound slightly desperate and the way the chairman has come out and said they have to sell him. I can see Celtic going in for either him or Lee Griffiths if they sell Hooper, but that could drag on for a whole. Get him signed up early.
