Anag Ram Posted February 1, 2012 Share Posted February 1, 2012 Agree with you Froggg. Saw both previous series and loved it. Lacked same dramatic thread, almost as if new writers. New Spartacus just doesn't have the charisma of Andy Whitfield, or indeed Dustin Clare who played Gannacus. The success of this one depends largely on Oenomaus and the return of Asha. Ramshankered Posted February 1, 2012 Share Posted February 1, 2012 Well for the record I thought the first episode of the first season was flippin' rubbish! Dodgy acting and hammy CGI a plenty. It wasn't until the third episode that the series picked up. No doubt the second series will pick up - and hopefully Liam McIntyre will grow into the role.
