Recommended Posts

Derby County have once again joined forces with Football Aid, allowing football fans the opportunity to play on the hallowed turf at Pride Park in 2012, while raising vital funds for charity at the same time.

Football Aid offers fans the opportunity to Live the Dream of an authentic match day experience; to gain exclusive access to the pitch and tunnel areas, pull on their own personalised shirt in the official changing rooms, walk down the tunnel to the sound of a cheering crowd and ultimately to step out onto their Field of Dreams and represent their club in a never to be forgotten 90 minute match.

The matches have also been supported by a host of Rams legends down the years, with the likes of Roger Davies, Phil Gee and Marc Edworthy all lending their valuable experience in recent years, by playing alongside or managing the supporters in the hugely enjoyable matches at Pride Park.

£350??? bloody hell, for the last two years I've paid £70-80 for a game on the pitch at the end of the season with all the same stuff included (apart from Roger Davies, but after a season of him on the radio we're all due a break)

The concept of Football Aid is simple - to allow fans, who have only been able to dream about it, the chance to experience the thrill of match day: to pull on their favourite shirt, walk down the tunnel to the sound of the crowd and play an adrenaline fuelled 90 minutes on the hallowed turf of the Club they support.

Derby County positions are in high demand and with all funds generated split between Derby's nominated charities/community projects and Football Aid's Field of Dreams it is all for a good cause!

At the moment Football Aid offer two options - buy now and sponser to play. After new year we open up the remaining positions for our Bidding period. You might be interested to wait until then.
