Alex W
Playing in a solid 4-4-2 formation, first we have the keeper: http://www.madblackcat.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Chas_Dingle-251x300 I've got Chas Dingle in net. The dirty minx is well used to dealing with balls all across the fields of the dales, often grasping balls on the rebound, so she's a safe bet as keeper. Alex W
http://shop.teeandtoast.com/images/uploads/smallbuttonbrooch At left back I have three small buttons. Even they are more use than Gareth Roberts. (Just kidding Gareth, well, kidding about half of your season anyway) http://www.internationalhero.co.uk/r/robocop http://affordablehousinginstitute.org/blogs/us/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/imagesairplane-otto-small At centre half we have the blow up doll from the cult 80's hit 'Airplane', and the elite crimefighter Robocop. At the heart of your defense you need some steel, i.e. Robo-cop, and reliability. The blow up doll was there when all else had failed, and he saw the day through. Reliability at its finest. He also managed to get a blowjob despite being a total non-entity. This deserves recognition. http://mutecitygaming.com/Images/guide%20images/halflife/weapons/gravitygun-halflife2 At right back we have the gravity gun from Half Life. What better way to stop a winger than anti-matter laser beams? I have yet to see Brayford use this trick, seems like a wasted oppurtunity. It also seems like the only viable option to stop Jimmy Kebe.
Alex W
http://www.cinefundas.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/Charlie-Sheen11 I need someone of the left wing stance who can stick to a white line with virulent professionalism. I have chosen this man. http://roseredprince.files.wordpress.com/2011/02/hades http://www.visit4info.com/sitecontent/LG/fullZZZZZZTVC080603103838PDC Central midfield can be a tricky area, so i've gone for the tried and tested system of 'Hard-nut defensive midfielder' and beside him a 'playmaker'. For the defensive component of my near flawless team, we have the Greek God of the Underworld, Hades. Not only does he command an army of the walking dead, which should keep the opposing number in check for a while, he also works very well with my other selection. Now, as you can see, i've gone for the two old grannies from the Shreddies advert. My thinking is this: If they can knit delicious cereal, and they must be able to thread a pass together too. So unless it's all a pun and i've made a terrible error, they're in. Plus they haven't got long left bless 'em, if they put on a bad show Hades is only a few feet away. http://progressivenation.us/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/john-mccain-Sen-R-NV-scowl On the far right we have John Mccain, as his party decides. Always gone to have someone who has been in combat in your side, but i'm going to have to keep him off of throw-in duty.
Alex W
http://thumbsnap.com/sc/tHAFmnnH http://files.sharenator.com/nuclear_bomb_RE_Peace-s300x300-2804 Finally, for my two upfront (and without resorting to a boobs gag) we have Barry Chuckle, who will hopefully be the set up man as he has so long been in his career, and an atomic bomb that swears upon impact. I need a finisher in this squad, and that seems a pretty good option.
Alex W
Post your own mind boggling selections here, if you're bored, stoned, or just easily amused. I knew I should have applied for that Mansfield Town job. I'd have been ******* brilliant. We definitely have the quality to push for promotion with this squad. Get Darren Moore in as back up and we'd have walked it.

Alex W
More to the point, is the match text chat box thingy up and ready for the new season Mr Alex? I'm putting all my effort into getting it sorted for the first match, if not then deffo the second one. And yes, it's actually happening! Been working with the Princes Trust for a month or so now, I have funding being applied for and affiliation with them being sorted. So yes Boycie, hopefully And I came back to talk to Alpha and never left. I will be going again soon, but just through how busy i'm going to be. I missed arguing my point on here

Perky1106
I'm still awake at 2am and can't see myself sleeping. So. ------------------------------http://bestuff.com/images/images_of_stuff/64x64crop/hope-solo-159060?1221200537------------------------------ Between the sticks I'm going to go with something not far from the realms of possibility. US international 'keeper Hope Solo. I make this decision because she is hot and I'm sure there aren't many players in the Championship who would complain about her grabbing their balls. On the other side, I'm going to have the protagonist of the Home Alone films Kevin McAllister, because he was LEFT BACK by his family in Chicago when they went on a Christmas vacation. In the middle I'm going to have Gerry Rafferty and Joe Egan, the two members of the folk band Stealers Wheel, because there are "clowns to the left of me and jokers to the right, and here I am stuck in the middle with you". Perky1106
http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2011/1/3/1294093293706/Michele-Bachmann-002----------http://prettejohn.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/New_Zealand_cities_map_sm-64x64----------http://userserve-ak.last.fm/serve/64s/3097546----------http://www.iwise.com/authorIcons/2757/Tony_Benn_64x64 The right wing position, as Alex said, should be filled by a natural right winger, so I've gone for 2012 president runner Michelle Bachman. She has tenaciously compared herself to John Wayne and has a lot of blind faith so seems a great addition. In the middle I have gone for the country of New Zealand, because it seems fairly capable of running/composing itself, lies in the middle of somewhere and demonstrates physical prowess due the fact no-one has ever managed to move it. Alongside I'm going to go for Russell Brand, who despite now being a man married to a beautiful woman has a track record from going box to box. And finally, once again opting for Alex' managerial methods, I'm going to go for left-wing Labour figurehead Tony Benn because he's very old and still going strong so can add much needed experience to the side. Perky1106
-------------------http://www2.picturepush.com/photo/a/2970010/64c/f1/red-bull?v0----------.freebase.com/api/trans/image_thumb/en/pete_doherty?pad=1&errorid=%2Ffreebase%2Fno_image_png&maxheight=64&mode=fillcropmid&maxwidth=64---------- Upfront I am opting for the current Red Bull F1 car because this year it seems to always be in front. Partnering the car will be Pete Doherty. He hasn't managed to keep clear of controversies, has both lovers and haters, but is clearly an iconic frontman. Alex W
I accept I may lose in a metaphorical match. I don't mind for two reasons. 1) He had a theory to each position. Theory to madness is needed. And 2) That 'Stuck in the middle with you' is a damn site funnier than anything I came up with. An internet based high five is yours. http://images.pictureshunt.com/pics/i/internet_high_five-2496
