I am sure that if Doughty hadn't spent (wasted) so much money on the dirty dogs he would pick up his ball and go home. The things that they are saying, and have been saying him about him for a while now beggars belief! Out of his affection for the club he has sunk tens of millions of his own money into the club with no real hope of seeing any of it ever again! He is a fan and florist are lucky to have such a rich and generous owner but there has to be a limit to the amount of money he can lose and it looks like this is it. I cannot believe that they are ungrateful.

Our owners are not or were not fans of the club when they took over, they have been honest about the fact they see us a money making venture and have never shied away from the fact that the aim is establish us as a prem team and is not just for DCFCs benefit but for their own also.

Grow up Red Dogs- you would still be an average team in League 1 (if not worse) if it were not for you having Doughty willing to throw his cash away! If there is anything he should be spending his hard earned on its a new stadium because the one you have is s*it! Surely all these problems have come from the ammount of money and wages Forest chucked out in the season they finished 3rd? They spent a lot of money that season, similar to us the season after we were relegated. Can see Forest struggling this season, they're team looks much weaker than before, and they're gay.

I may be wrong but if Doughty got rid of the acquisition panel and gave the manager full responsibility for signings they wouldn't have a problem with Doughty. It seems the main gripe is with Arthur and Pleat for fannying around in the transfer window.

The acquisition panel is obviously something they fail to mention during negotiations with new managers, first Billy and now McClaren, if they knew what they were walking into would they have took the job?

Makes me laugh when you read Forest forums who they want into replace McClaren, O'Neill or Keane, 2 managers that have only been successful by spending millions.

If McClaren was to go now, not sure who would be willing to take that job on, bottom 3, playing crap, thin squad, transfer window shut and loans moves will have to be agreed buy a secret acquisition panel by which point other clubs will come in and snap them all.

Would agree with you daveo; the problem is not nigel doughty and never has been for most forest fans (well most who know what they are talking about, lol). The problem is the clown mark arthur who is in charge of the running of the club and given the amount of money we lose each year and our inability to get signings over the line, its clear he cant do his job and is arguably responsible for the mess we find ourselves in.

Its clear the problem lies in the running of the club because 2 managers have faced the same problem; when they sacked billy they said he had taken us as far as he could which is why a change was needed! Well I and many others believe mark arthur has taken us as far as he can (which isnt very far mind) and a change is necessary if we are to move onto the next level.

Tell them that you are jealous of Derby's league titles and would rather those than the European coffee cup's.

or say - how come ex forest players and staff turn up at derby and do really well yet 'we' end up with **** like camp and earnshaw and tudgay ...

Before they ban you, send them our love from dcfcfans.

And cheer em up ffs!

Remind them that forest always have a TENdency to start slow. Tell them to relax, that TENsion transfers to the players. No wonder they didn't perform on satdee.

If that were true then Doughty would be selling them off to recoup some of the £70m+ that they owe him! 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

This explains why Doughty disagrees with the new fair play rules as he will either have to sell out or write the debt off, otherwise most of Forest's income will be spent servicing the debt.

Didn't some American chap express his views on this a few months ago, now it all starts to make some sense..
