Good luck to him. Be surprised if he plays the 2 seasons, can see it being a season then hanging up the boots to concentrate on the coaching.

Hope it goes well on the coaching front for him, but I think his days of playing regularly football are behind him.Thankfully Warne realised soon enough that he couldn’t cut it anymore as a regular player/starter, as if he hadn’t there’s no way we’d have got promoted. I wish him the best of luck though. 🐏

Wish him nothing but the best - he seems like a really good pro and in his day he was one hell of a player. One of my favourite EFL players - he got stuck in at every level and was very good at it. We never saw that, obviously, but he still left Derby having done a good job overall.

Good move for him. I suspect it will be more coaching than playing, particularly based on the speed of his regression at the back end of last season. Nevertheless, he can still play a part in League One.
