Alph Posted October 31, 2010 Share Posted October 31, 2010 I wouldn't be surprised if Blackburn would want to sell in the summer, Robinson 31 still has a few years left in him, they also have Mark Bunn as backup. Add to that Fielding has openly stated he wants to be playing first team football (when is his contract up?) and Big Sam has been told by the new owners he has a transfer kitty of just £5m, I think he could be tempted to cash in now with a few future add ons included. Although saying that I don't think Derby will sign him, I'm sure he'll be snapped up by a club that will offer him the number 1 shirt. Didn't realise Robinson was only 31!! I reckon Big Sam will work better under a tight budget. He seems to splash the cash wildly when he does get a few bob. The £5m could make a big difference to his team there no? I was thinking about Ben Davies the other day (I know he's not a striker) and I think he'd struggle to get any game time with us at the minute. Can only be a positive thing!
