Whoneedshuls
I always said we didn't need hulse and am I right or am I right. Kuqi is better albeit older and he ain't afraid to tackle unlike hulse was. I finally see a decent side starting to emerge we still miss brayford down the right
GboroRam
Thought the name was going to be "whoneedshulsewedo" but it wouldn't fit? Or are we hedging our bets now?

Day
He said we haven't got the quality players to challenge for a top 6/10 finish shot himself in the foot there as they shouldn't of sold hulse and varny don't care wat they were on or mac they bought the ***** that's going to take us down instead. Hmmmmm
GboroRam
Trouble with the internet is, anything you say is going to be recorded for a very long time, and there's always somebody with the time and inclination to find your words and hang you with them. GboroRam
It is half past 4 on a school day, and I'm at home reading dcfcfans.uk, so I can't really be too critical.

Derby_Dave
Hulse I thought was quality but easily bullied. Kuqi is definately a stronger player but the proof will be in the long term and as Hulse I believe is still injured we are sitting pretty at the moment. JohnClement
Much as I liked Rob Hulse, he is I'm afraid very injury prone and we have enough of those already on the staff.

I believe as a general rule you only sell your 'unwanted' players after acquiring their replacement - Clough senior always did this as I recall. Gemmill replaced Carlin, Todd for Mackay etc
Hucknall Ram
Was it bad timing? One way to look at it is that he still injured, if he kept him and then got a replacement in, he couldn't play anyway

Could be a cold cold Christmas, unless SickNote #1 and SickNote #2 are available..

WilkoRam
Bit early to judge though. Hulse played in teams that predominately played poor hoofball football. We're now playing good football and Kuqi has only played a few games for us. Hope we're still thinking he's great after 10 games or so.
Perky1106
I was quite sad and shocked when we sold Hulse but I do think now it is for the greater good as long as Bueno can keep up good form. Has anyone seen him on the new FIFA 11? He is the new David Villa!
Whoneedshuls
Was it bad timing? One way to look at it is that he still injured, if he kept him and then got a replacement in, he couldn't play anyway good point maybe clough is thinking to get kuqi in on a years perm in january cheapish. think we need to sign bueno up on a 2year deal even if it costs 2mill before someone of the likes of newcastle stoke wigan sign him up on the cheap as he looks like a very talented young midfielder/striker in the right side, and hes clever too. be a shame to loose him at the end of the season. CumbrianRam
Hulse was getting more and more injury prone towards the end of his time at Derby and it was a good time to sell him, shame we didn't get 4 mill like 'Boro were offering last year. Thank you for the goals Rob, especially the ones v Forest. We do need to sign a permanent striker in January though.
WilkoRam
Agree with that last bit. We need someone in on a permanent basis as Porter and Davies can't be relied upon to be fit and Kuqi can't be seen as a long term target. Would like to see two strikers in full time but 1 will do.
