Kris Marina
Derby support diminishing. Yet still higher than Forest's. Despite being the smaller city by population

Leeds Ram
the city of derby only has a population of 250,000 people apparently.
red fever
But that does not explain why 8000 less turned up for the first match of the season.
ramtasia
If you take capacity for derby fans at 29000 and away at 3500 (32500 altogether) we were roughly 3500 fans down on first game 29000 - 25500 derby fans = 3500 short

GboroRam
But that does not explain why 8000 less turned up for the first match of the season. Just imagine how bad it could be - we could be 19th and have an empty stadium.
Leeds Ram
if the board by the end of this seaosn still hadn't invested and things weren't getting any better i would propose a walkout of the first home match.

Perky1106
the city of derby only has a population of 250,000 people apparently. But Nottingham is about 6-700,000. More than double that of Derby. So I wonder why the lovely people of Robin Hood's hometown aren't going to matches ... I know it has two teams but if you split Nottingham in half each half would still be bigger than Derby so that excuse has certainly expired.
