GboroRam
My prediction: a 3-0 victory. I think we'll have a cracking start to the season, first half dozen games will be really positive - then it'll start to slow down and we'll finish at a canter. red fever
Found this, looks like leeds fancy their chances. After three years in League One, Leeds United are finally getting back to where they once belonged. They didn't make light work of getting promotion last term, but with seven new signings, there is an air of optimism around Elland Road. While things are looking brighter at Elland Road, at Derby there seems to be a sense of déjàvu. There have been no standout signings over the summer and everything seems set for another season of mediocrity. Despite Leeds being highly fancied to have a good run at a promotion push, nobody doubts it will be difficult for them to make the initial step up to Championship football. But with the likes of Shaun Barker, Stephen Pearson and Steve Davies all missing for the Rams, Leeds should come out on top. Simon Grayson is remaining tight-lipped about his team selection for the game, but one thing is certain - new striker Billy Paynter will be missing after picking up an injury. They are already without Jermaine Beckford who moved to Everton over the summer, so goals could be hard to come by for the Elland Road side.
