As I said before, I see this season as a transition year (ledley slowly playing less, evans and holmes getting minutes, bennett and thomas being involved, marriot getting used to this league). Entertaining games and improving performances. Its not a must go up season for us.

Give the new lads time people - Already people mentioning that Waghorn could be a flop or should be replaced.

Waghorn - Had 2 days with the squad and in that time had to learn how the team is playing and what players were going to do? When you start a new job do you know how the guys around you work and what their pro's and con's are within the first 2 days? No. It takes about 4 weeks to get used to how people work/play.

Wilson - Been here longer than most new boys and hasn't scored yet but oh well only 2 games in - Hes young and the first 2 games of the season have been tough and add to that Wisdom's lack of support in the final third, have we really seen the best of him yet? - Hes trying possibly too hard and ive seen glimpses of class, he made space for himself and had a shot but it went wide or blocked and hes played some lovely through balls but slightly over hit them, He will get better and better and be a big player.

Mount - Pure quality, my favorite player by a mile (biased views possibly) If the players behind him start doing what they should and he has time to gel with them and the front player/players he will score no end of goals. once hes learned how to play with Waghorn or Marriott there understanding will be a lot better. Hes a goal threat we saw that Saturday but the finishing touch wasn't there he could of had 2.

Tomori - Very impressed with the lad - he was with the side only 3 days and came in unexpectedly and performed really well, yes he gave the ball a way once or twice but so does everyone. hes very strong and good and sticking to players and pressing them, good tackle on him too. If we can improve him and get him next to Davies for the next 10 games he has the making of a decent player with the pace he has.

It happens every time we get a new manager we start off with low expectations.

Let's give him a chance, he needs to  get to know the club, the players and bring in his own staff and signings.

We know it will take time. Were building a long term project..

We are suddenly lucky to get a 'high profile' but rookie manager excitement  builds. We make some seemingly positive signings expectations notch up a little high

A good preseason with some good wins expectations rocket.

Season starts a somewhat fortunate last minute win. Expectations off the Richter Scale.

Everyone looking forward to first home game. Televised against old rivals. Match goes poorly bad defeat.

Result. The end of world.( after 1 defeat ).

Get a grip the league is 46 games long. Where was promised we would go up this season anyway.

What happened to giving Frank a chance ?

Come folks play the game.
