Didn’t buy her any flowers as the last time I did that she moaned that the colours didn’t match the lounge. Anyway I was too late in getting a ticket and am £40 down, what with the lunch. Told her I’m going to Wembley two weeks today. That went down like a lead balloon. I won’t repeat what she said as it contained several utterances not conducive to a family forum.
