We have gone over this a thousand times, yes Nigel can spot a player but surely you haven’t forgot his negative tactics especially away from home.

At least we had the occasional shot - and the players never shrank away from a challenge. I look forward to the time when we have the likes of Shaun Barker and Sir Jake at our club again.

Though tbf and ironically, he was shaking off that tag just as Sam was about to fire him.

2-1 at Brighton 5-1 at millwall 3-0 at Yeovil all in early 2013/14

The problem being that we were so good at home the season previous teams set up to stifle us there… successfully.

Once he has built a decent squad/team, his tactics were not that negative when he managed to get Burton promoted 3 times. And this season they have taken more points away from home.
