He'd apparently missed some recent shows due to illness/hospitalisation, but he was expected to recover. The official Walter Becker website doesn't say much but simply has pictures of him and "f e b . 2 0 1 9 5 0 — s e p t . 0 3 2 0 1 7" on the home page, so I guess that's confirmation of a sort....
