PistoldPete2 Posted October 23, 2015 Share Posted October 23, 2015 I went right at the front Ossie end cant see myself on the video though.I remember 3 goals were scored at Normanton end and Charlie got 1 pen at Ossie end.Also Stuart Webb doubled price of tickets it cost £1.50 for a childs ticket instead of 75P.Still got ticket framed with a signed photo of Charlie scoring his first goalyes I remember the fuss over the price at £1.50 what a rip off. Greedy Stuart Webb. How much would I pay now to see something like that again? Mel Morris has spent £20 million just on new players to help us get out of the championship. All meet up at the statue where the Baseball ground used to be. Me and my mate used to drive home after a night match like idiots to watch us on the telly again .Not so much traffic on the roads then but I used to get about 80 -85 out of my old Ford Anglia down the long straight just before Shardlow.
