None have really mae the step up it seems. That is what I thought you might say, Red_Dawn. This is true of so many players. They get to a certain level but need to keep playing to improve. There is no transition because Premiership sides cannot really allow players to settle in as the margins are so fine.What makes matters worse is that players like these will not move back to the Championship on less cash. Bamford is a very good Championship but his best chance of making it as a Premiership starter is to get promotion with a Championship player and prove himself in a team that he knows well against other Premiership teams. If he proves himself in his first season then a bigger team will buy him and maybe play him. Matt Ritchie has done exactly this and has proved that he is Premiership quality.
