paintingstandsatderby Posted February 19, 2015 Share Posted February 19, 2015 Really hope sm ripped them a new one after Tuesday night and that they approach each game as if promotion depends on it. When we turn up with the right mental approach more often than not we get the result so hopefully Tuesday might have done us a favour in the long run. We've no doubt got the squad to get there but really need to get some momentum going again and fingers crossed our lads have got the mental strength to see us over the line. I think SM has become more and more frustrated in recent weeks, and his post match interviews have shown that. Hopefully a rocket up the arse will do the trick. A lot shouting for thorne to start but I think we should wait until we're 2-3 in front (hopefully) and he can come on for the last 20ish. Ward was not as effective as he can be, yet Lingard looked sharp when he came on. Christie also looked very hit and miss, therefore a change for Shotton also?
