Isn't funny, entertaining, clever or watchable, it's one of those shows that lives off the hype, like it's supposed to be some how cool to watch it, it's actually not and you know it's never been and never will be a patch on The Simpsons. Oh and the testicle chin thing going on is just immature.

Watch seasons 3-6, top quality stuff. After that it's gone downhill, crude but not comedy. The great thing was that it inferred rudeness into the episodes early on, which is what has made the Simpsons so funny and longetivity.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone called this a few years ago when they lampooned Family Guy in a South Park episode. Red Letter Media also savaged 1 Billion Ways to Die in the West, or whatever it was called, pointing out that once McFarland is robbed of the ability to make constant inane pop culture references his writing consists of nothing more that sex and fart jokes.

Admittedly it is pretty bad half the time filled with way too much singing.If I watch an animated show it is American Dad usually or Archer.
