DcFc Dyycheee
Sky Sports understands that West Bromwich Albion are interested in a move for Reading winger Garath McCleary. McCleary has one year remaining on his deal at the Madejski Stadium, having arrived at the club from Nottingham Forest in 2012. No decision will be taken on his future until Reading Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/15483-gareth-mccleary/ Share on other sites
YorkshireRam
Good winger and would probably slot straight into our system and style of play. It would be a coup if we could get him for >1 million. YorkshireRam
He may be a back-up target, in-case we fail to get McClean? Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/15483-gareth-mccleary/#findComment-633628 Share on other sites
YorkshireRam
And Hal Robson-Kanu I doubt Robson-Kanu is in our price range. Well under contract and probably will gain quite a bit of interest from other clubs. rams_man
He may be a back-up target, in-case we fail to get McClean?I would rather have McCleary over McClean any day of the week Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/15483-gareth-mccleary/#findComment-633640 Share on other sites
Carl Sagan
Spent forever doing nothing for the trees until he was in the final year of his contract and sprang to life. A lot of talent. Has amazing games, and is then invisible in the next. What is it with wingers that makes them so inconsistent? That's probably why we permed 2 from 5 last season, to keep them on their toes. And it was a very successful policy. Given a choice between McCleary, McLean, Eagles, Burke, if we are buying a winger I'd rank them: Eagles McCleary McLean Burke Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/15483-gareth-mccleary/#findComment-633641 Share on other sites

niram
So, the question for mcClaren is, mcCleary, McLean or McCormack Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/15483-gareth-mccleary/#findComment-633652 Share on other sites
North_Stand_Ram
And Eagles is free. He's also poor, what's the obsession? He got released and couldn't get into a side who finished in the bottom half of the division. Will want silly wages not good enough for us in my eyes Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/15483-gareth-mccleary/#findComment-633654 Share on other sites

rams_man
I wouldnt want Eagles his done nothing for a long time now. I also believe that this McCleary article is agent driven for a new contract as he only has 1yr left on his current deal.
