BenDavies44 Posted December 22, 2013 Share Posted December 22, 2013 been reading lots of things suggesting Mcclaren wants McCormack, IF it is true. i think he'd be a quality signing to get a player of his ability.. 3 reasons why i cant see it happening. 1) if Leeds were to sell to a championship club, especially Derby surely they'd be asking for a lot of money. Lets face it were not known to being one of the richest championship clubs are we. 2) I don't think he'd suit our style of play, with us having Martin as our main hold up guy upfront there is no chance of us replacing him. Then out wide we have Dawkins, Russell & Ward we dont need to strengthen there. 3) Pretty similar to number 1 in terms of finances and there are a number of premier league clubs after him and its unlikely we will be outbidding them.. As i said at the minute it's only speculation.. So would you like to see McCormack here, if so how do you think we'd get him in or leave out?
