Hucknall Ram
Thought I'd start a new thread on this, rather than it being part of the SAF thread. With Moyes more or less off, Roberto Martinez is the odds on favourite, but Metro (that pantheon of footballing knowledge) is reporting an approach for Porto's Vitor Pereira. Michael Laudrup and Roberto Di Matteo are also touted. But SkyBet have 150-1 on Alan Irvine as well... Going slightly off topic but I don't see what the fuss is about with Martinez. He is sooooooo overrated.

LeedsCityRam
The Everton job must be the easiest job in the world.. You're under no pressure to win anything, you're under no pressure to win an away game against a good club, you have a really good academy that produces quality players, you're a big club so you have a pull in transfers and all you need to do is finish in the top 10 every year.. Easy peasy lemon squeezy Don't think it can be called an easy job. Everton are one of the "establishment" clubs in this country & have a great history - even as recent as the 1980's. As a result, their fans are pretty demanding - look at all the protests against Kenwright earlier this season even though under Moyes they are guaranteed a top 10 place & a flirtation with Europe. Also being a "big club" doesn't really have a pull in transfers unless you have the money to back it up. Look at how QPR outbid Newcastle wagewise for Loic Remy for example. I'd like to see Martinez given the Everton job - although I rate him, I'd like to see him judged at a club with more resources than Wigan & with significantly more demanding fans.
