end of season review

Recommended Posts

Positives

•improved league position in a division that has tightened up a lot (14 points from 22nd to 6th, last year we were 24 points from 22nd and finished 12th)

•got 2 wins and a draw from teams playing for survival (Barnsley, Peterborough and Millwall) not letting the season fizzle out really.

•a great home record

negatives

• **** away

• throwing 4 points away against Wednesday, 2 away against Cardiff and 1 away against Ipswich (would have put us 6th)

7 points away is unacceptable

Performances have improved

Nigel's tactics are like a bad joke

Nigel's formations are like a bad joke.

I'm pretty sure Sam Rush is a clown, otherwise he needs to prove that he means business.

Positives:

Football (at times) is better, as are performances.

Great home record.

Will Hughes.

Still beating Leeds and forest and beat fester.

Lots more goals.

Higher finish.

More late goals.

Improvement of jeff.

Freeman looking promising.

Next season looks like it could be a decent one.

Negatives:

Awful away.

Nigel still doing stupid things.

Long winless run.

Less points.

Sammon not living up to price tag.

Errors costing us points.

Poor up front.

Nigels bad joke tactics have resulted in improved performances?

Have your wrists stopped bleeding yet after Sammon scored? You must have been gutted.

Glad for him tbh. 2 goals from 21 last games is a great return for such a poor football player.

Just don't turn this thread into another 'Sammon' topic. I won't change my opinion on him.

Your last sentence is hilarious. In your fantasy football league are other teams allowed to make the same

sort of claims or just us?

What's hilarious about saying we threw points away when we did? And yep other teams can make the same claims. I reckon Wednesday would be glad we threw those points their way otherwise they'd be down

So long as you don't turn it into the usual 'personal abuse' thread, we've got a deal

You have a strange grasp of reality when it comes to comedy. Benny Hill or nothing, eh?
