Having gone in the Exeter Arms for the first time on Saturday, it comes flying in as my favourite pub in Derby. My favourite three are now 1. Exeter Arms. 2. Brunswick 3. Brewery Tap (ex Royal Standard). My favourites in Derbyshire are 1. Barley Mow at Kirk Ireton. 2. Holly Bush at Makeney 3. Three Stags Head at Wardlow Mires.

I love the Coopers Tavern. Will have to try The Elms if that's better.

Not as much choice in The Elms , but she keeps a good pint of Bass

Have you tried the pubs in the NE Derby area. Bridge/Furnace/Flowerpot/Dolphin/Silk Mill/Brewery Tap/Exeter/Smithfield all within 1/2 mile of each other, all have at least 4 real ales.

Black Bulls Head, Openwoodgate, just outside Belper,ok, ok.

Inside Belper, erm, the Bench in the memorial gardens.

no! No, erm, George and Dragon,

I've heard the George and Dragon is good now. Where do you drink in Derby?

Derby, ok,

brunny,

Alex.

Dolphin

Witherspoons, (some cheap real ales)

Flower pot

Need to try the Smithfield, the dancing duck place (exeter) 7 stars(5 lamps)

Used to go in the waterfall match days, then they stopped the hot pork or beef cobs, with stuffing, so the expensive beer, and sky couldn't alone tempt us back.

Bentley Brook Inn in Fenny Bentley can be brilliant on a scorching day and there's a good campsite up the road.

Scored a hat trick in a children's game of football that got out of hand there once, turned around and all my lot had gone...

Where you a child at the time yourself?
