Maybe they should look for a more immediate fix considering where they are, the money they spend and where they want to be. £70m + theyve spent on a handful of players who are average Premiership players. £70m on Adam, Downing, Henderson, Carroll, maybe Ince etc. Crazy. They are lacking half a squad and havent got the money to buy the standard of players that they want. Its going to take a manager with a really good eye for a player, and tremendous knowledge of the leagues at home and abroad to turn them around. I doubt whether brendan rodgers is the man.
