  1. http https://www.thefarside.com/20240101/1 Gary Larson is so brilliant!
  2. How many elves does it take to tile Santa's roof? It depends how thinly you slice them.
  3. I hope that everyone's had an enjoyable Christmas day and that a good result for us tomorrow makes it two enjoyable days in a row! XX
  4. That shot looks quite foreboding and apocalyptic not in a Derby sense but generally. Spectacular photographs but these things tend to make me a bit uneasy. Weird, I know.
  5. I wanted to be there for B4 but I have to be at my mums in Burton on Thursdays as my sister has to work. Mum is 92 and has lots of health issues and needs lots of daily help from myself and my sister to enable her to stay in her own home with her beloved cairn terrier, Jasmine. I hope that everything passed off smoothly and that B4 got the send off he deserved ! How we miss him. Much love to all the family and I hope you find some comfort knowing how much Daniel was loved and held in such high regard with those who had met him and those who had not met him but loved him anyway. I'm sure that all DCFC fans are thinking about you at this difficult time and sending love and hugs to you all. X
  6. I was going back over to my mum's on Saturday afternoon to look after her. I timed my journey so that when the applause started I would be parked off the road in a beautiful little hamlet near mum's home called Dunstall. The light over the hilly countryside was so golden that afternoon. It made all the trees, fields and sheep and sky seem gilded with gold. Just when the applause started It seemed as though there was a moment when heaven and earth met briefly. Bless you, B4, this amazing moment summed you up.
  7. Derby 2 Bristol 1 FRGS Collins 🐏COYR !! DO it for B4!! 🐏
  8. I'm so sorry that lack of internet access (nursing my mum and covid) has kept me from adding my condolences to the wonderful B4 and his amazing family. I've been reading the thread on my old phone since Angie first told us of the dreadful news but have been unable to post until today. I can't add anything to the heartfelt tributes I've read, but I share everyone's sadness and touching comments about our young friend. B4 - what an incredible soul you were. Friendly, brave, funny, loyal, kind, caring and an example to us all. I will miss your posts so much. You could never have known just what an influence for good you had on this small corner of the world or how your departing would affect so many who never even met you. Rest in peace, Dan and thank you for all you taught us. COYR!! Much love to the family, Chris XX
