Tripel! Wonderful stuff! Happy (partial) memories of business trips in Belgium/Holland downing Trapist Tripel and Dubbel! (Plus Palm, a personal favourite) One time we had some Yanks across who proclaimed (loudly, as usual) to all that US beer was the easily best in the world - cue laughter from the Belgians and the Brits. I tastefully explained they were "off their rocker" but my Belgian friend explained by getting them a few Tripels - far more effective. After two glasses the Yanks had a happy, double glazed look and had gone very quiet - rather an effective explanation of the quality of Belgian beer I thought.

Really happy with this, it says we are doing something important right. He would have been able to find another team after his performances for us, but staying says we have a set up and approach thats attractive to him, (and hopefully other players/recruits). Getting the players we want to stay retained early is essential.

It was the cowardly way Couhig stabbed us in the back when he knew we could not fight back. That got to me, and for that I can only hope their club gets screwed over on a regular basis. When we get out of this league, I can only hope they end up being relegated. Two celebrations in one.

REALLY want us to stuff them, totally stuff them, but I think it will be a "routine" score not an exceptional one - more's the pity.
