I'm not excusing his headbutt but when he was being rugby tackled at every corner and then the red gives the softest foul the other way, I understand why you lose your patience and snap. Anyway it should force us to go back to a back four where I think we look far better.

If the argument is he doesn’t track back, I question why we even bought him in the first place and what’s the point of putting him on the bench? This line up doesn’t shout goals - and goals win games. At least with CBT and NML you in essence give them a free pass to create. Now our attacking centre mids appears to be Thompson. Jesus.

What was the point in buying CBT if he can’t get in when we only have two other attacking options? I just can’t get my head around it.

CBT was always a winger. Wingbacks doens't suit his game. If he's played as an inside forward type position, it'll be interesting if he has any impact.

He’s the only one who willingly takes the ball of the back four. He offers more offensively than Thompson or Smith. Agree our midfield can look weak at times with him in there but he’s still an asset who he himself knows is probably calling in a day at the end of this summer. For that alone, I hope fans give him the respect he deserves for an excellent career.

I bet rates and utilities are close to £1m each year - suggesting I bet the rent covers the costs and DC is getting nothing back. However the P&L on the stadium will not be shown in full accounts given the T/O is very low.

This is just turgid again. One good piece of football with an offside to ruin it but still not sure what we’re trying to do.
