Ok. I dont post much but have spent more time on this thread than is healthy. Morning, noon, night, at work, at airports, in hospital and so on. The news is fantastic and I will be eternally grateful to DC for saving the club and allowing me and my boy to keep avidly following dcfc home and away. Means so much to us all. Just a massive thankyou to everyone who has endeavoured to keep posting every snippet of information, every relevent tweet, every update and making it easy to find everything in one place. In the main you have posted stuff on here way before it was picked up anywhere else and seconds after it was realeased.  I really  appreciate your efforts in keeping us updated and once again for playing ahuge part in supporting us all with witty comments, beer talk, absolute rubbish at times but I have felt amongst true fans on this forum and am so pleased we can look forward again. There will be better days ahead for us all.

Fair enough on the player numbers. I get genuinely puzzled when I see squad lists that seem hugely long myself. My post was really about the perennial problem of club income versus the farcical player salaries we see in football. In the elite and down here among normal mortals. Accepting that some of the assumed wages probably aren’t what some think they are they are still at bonkers level and need a reset if the game as a whole is to be sustainable. It’s like the owner of a local mini market paying himself like he owns Tesco

Chris Coles has been a great addition to the RD team over the last few years. The comments about Ed Dawes is harsh, his passion and love for the club come through in his commentary which I like.

After years of work and research here it is !
The Derby County shirt worn in the inaugural season of 1884 by the pioneers of our club, Cambridge Blue, Amber and Chocolate Brown the first colours of the Rams, it was thought that the early colours were blue but it was a shade of blue called Cambridge Blue which is actually more of a green. The badge was the badge of the Derbyshire FA that a player was permitted to wear if they had been selected to represent the Derbyshire FA.
we have had two made by a local tailor after we sourced the correct colours and the materials, the embroidery was done separately, even down to mother of Pearl buttons, it is to add further integrity to the book but moreover to show where the club evolved from, the team that wore these colours set the precedent for all those that have followed, the shirts will be on display at our Rams Heritage roadshows later in the year.
brought to life after 137 years by Phil Lowe & Jason Shardlow.

Well yes. Through his own negligence he couldn't do the job he was being paid for. We offered him reduced terms for the remainder of his contract in order to facilitate a replacement . More than generous .  No injustice at all unless you consider the final nail towards administration is paying a fortune to a bloke who couldn't play because he didn't order a taxi.

    What inconsistency?
They could fulfil their contracted duties as professional footballers, Richard couldn't.
