  1. Forest Twitter in complete denial!!! 🤣🤣🤣Just as we were!!! Karma’s a bitch!
  2. Remember first time I saw them both, preseason game against Notts County when we didn’t have a kit just before we went into admin. They were the two best players on the pitch and Cash scored, thought they were both class then - particularly cash.
  3. Derby 3 Peterborough 1 - Mendez-Laing FRGS
  4. Said it a few times she’s taking us to the end of the season unbeaten!!
  5. Basically Liam was asked the question in his presser to which he reacted with complete shock, saying “ I know Nat I haven’t heard that one” said if he was interested in Derby players he’d go straight to the club as still has a good relationship with them - which gives me hope he’s not looking at Derby players 🤞🤞🤞. Be awesome if they’re not in the running for Max.
  6. It’s b*******, Rosenior said as much in his presser.
  7. Make no mistake, today we were bloody excellent. As good an away performance as we’ve produced for a while and one of the best performances under Warne. Interestingly he then said in his interview with Dom “that’s us, that’s how I want our team to play” - so called Warne ball has been derided by a few on here, I thought that was very entertaining and I want to see more of it. Wigan are a decent outfit with some very good players and this was a good win. Now we have two massive games against Oxford and Posh, it will be interesting to see if we can replicate this performance in those games, we will need to in order to win them. Fingers crossed we can get the results, win them both that would be 9 wins in 10 which is just ridiculous so law of averages suggests we will drop points, would bite your hand off for 4 points from the next 2. Every player was excellent today, even Sonny Bradley was immense when he came on. Cant wait for the Oxford game now
  8. Said it before and will say it again, you’re taking us through to the end of the season, unbeaten!! And in true b4 style.
  9. Very decent win tonight. Thought Lincoln were decent at times. Moved the ball well, tough game but also one that played into our hands as Lincoln weren’t spoiling the game (unlike Wycombe). Professional performance result never really in doubt after Wilson goal. Keep thinking Hourihane should be dropped but he’s one of the few (possibly the only) player in league 1 who could score that goal, he’s not had many chances like that, technically outstanding. Like his leadership but with Tommo now coming back then he’s potentially droppable - if Fornah is performing which he didn’t necessarily tonight. Foz I’ve been critical recently but no issues tonight although pleased Elder is back to keep him honest. Ward cannot play in a back 4, he can’t defend - it wasn’t a pen last week although it was poor defending, this week it was a stonewall. His crossing was straight to the keeper. Wilson made a huge difference when he came on. Wasn’t Mendez’s night tonight but thought Barkhuizen was a threat. Collo did little tonight and was really quiet, until brilliance from Kane found him and he scored with an excellent finish. Delighted for him, so many times he’s run his heart out for little reward. The centre halves were excellent once again, Cash outstanding defending to prevent a goal, Curtis Nelson is a league one Igor!! Class! Big result tonight with tricky games over Christmas, the acid test for us ahead of the January window.
  10. If anyone still subscribes to The Athletic and they want any negative gossip (the truth) about the red dogs suggest they read the article their resident award winning journo has done. I haven’t read it but seen snippets on Twitter and various Twitter comments. Makes for interesting reading. Maranakis’ cash has helped get them promoted, his chaotic running of the club (which we know has been the case for years) will destroy everything.
  11. Forest following a similar trend to Leeds here (only Leeds played better football). They twisted and got rid of Bielsa, probably wrong decision. Forest will be fine this season, but next season will be tougher with the three coming up. Personally I hope this is the return of the Maranakis revolving door for Managers. Nuno to the end of the season, Glasner until October, Jesse Marsch until March by which time they’re adrift of Safety which means the inevitable call to Big Sam who then everyone realises is a busted flush, relegation, Big Sam sacked with 2 games to go, before Sabri Lamouchi is welcomed back like an old friend for the rebuild.
  12. I’ve had a season ticket since pride park opened in 1997 (apart from a 4 year stint when I was at uni). I genuinely had no idea we even had a clock!! You learn something new every day! 🤣
  13. Not based on most of the decisions/non decisions we’ve seen this season and not as bad as the two Wycombe ones that went unpunished, he was stretching due to a bad touch but didn’t go into the tackle with any real velocity, letter of the law yellow but common sense not to give it in first 15 mins of the game. It wasn’t as bad as the Hourihane one (although I don’t think that was a red contrary to what some are saying). Even allowing NML she didn’t need to give the Sibs Collo and Leahy ones, if that first half hour had been NML Bird Hourihane in the book plus the two bad Wycombe ones she didn’t punish the ref would’ve been about right. Your point was she reffed the game well, fair enough that’s your opinion. I thought the ref was poor setting the tone with the ridiculous Sibley yellow, ending with bottling a Vokes sending off (which the ref created giving him the same nonsensical yellow as Sibs) and the extremely soft penalty. If this ref is the best then we’re doomed. The ref along with Wycombe antics spoiled the game,we weren’t good enough yesterday to try and overcome it, type of game you try and just get out of with a 1-0 which unfortunately we couldn’t quite manage. Hopefully we can be back on it for Lincoln
  14. This isn’t good. Coupled with the fact they’ve shut the c*** pitt multi-storey car park losing 800 spaces, makes parking around canal st Siddals rd impossible especially with Christmas shoppers, having to park in Darwin Place now which is further away.
  15. Yes she was really poor, as poor as the usual tripe we get. Way below the standards she set when she’s previously reffed us. Been on here saying she was the best ref we had last season. She dished out 6 yellow cards in the first half hour!! And it wasn’t a dirty game! There’s no going back from that. The Sibley one was a joke. The NML wasn’t a yellow in my view, strikers tackle if you give one like that you give it later in the game not so early. She didn’t need to give the yellows to leahy and Collo, she didn’t give yellows twice in first half to Wycombe players when she should’ve done for bad tackles, once when she played advantage (rightly despite the boos) and should’ve gone back to book the Wycombe player. Bird Hourihane decisions spot on, penalty is a debatable one, soft decision but down to interpretation so some blame there but not much, and then what about where she accidentally blocked the Derby attack and gave Wycombe the f****** ball on the restart!! 🤬 The really big calls she might have got just about right but her management of the game was hopeless!!
  16. Very angry and frustrated tonight!! Genuinely thought we’d done it with a scrappy 1-0 when not at our best playing a team of anti-footballers, then the penalty, right in front of me, absolutely no way in my view, she looked at the Lino who didn’t give then pointed to the spot anyway. I agree with those saying it’s a 2023 penalty but I’d also say it’s one that VAR would give one week then not give it the next. It was extremely soft but then poor defending from Ward and not for the first time today. As for Rebecca Welch, this is the third time she’s reffed us. She was excellent the first time, good the second, horrendous today. Managed the game really poorly making a rod for her own back with those early nonsensical yellow cards for Sibley and Mendez-Laing. The Collins Leahy (who is a proper Bamford by the way) handbags could’ve avoided 2 bookings easily, there were two challenges after then on Derby players which were stonewall yellow cards not given, ironically when the crowd shouted you don’t know what you’re doing after the Bird yellow, that decision was spot on, it was the poor decisions prior that contributed to ruining the game. The only time she was consistent was booking vokes for the same offence as Sibley, which then left her a problem when he booted a Derby player in the face, she could’ve easily sent Vokes off for two bookings but that would’ve been a bad call IMO. Genuinely thought she was a class act but take it all back after today, she’s as useless as the usual rabble of officials we get week in week out at this level. Definitely no worse, we’ve had worse refs this season. Thought we tried to play today but the players weren’t quite at it. Wildsmith Cashin Ward Hourihane Sibley all below par. Ward I thought really struggled and I’m surprised he stayed on. Still unbeaten in 6, we were never going to win 10-12 in a row which we would need to do to get the results we want over Christmas and New Year where maximum points will be really useful to us. A win on Thursday sets us up nicely for some tricky Christmas fixtures.
  17. Forest following a similar trend to Leeds here (only Leeds played better football). They twisted and got rid of Bielsa, probably wrong decision. Forest will be fine this season, but then unless they improve significantly next season will be vulnerable. Would fancy Leicester or even Ipswich to beat this lot right now
  18. Because we’ve spent the first few months of the season bedding in new players and dealing with injuries obviously 🙄😜. We usually time our good run this time of year, need to avoid the February decline which given we have more options this year and we’re going to strengthen in January gives us a great chance. It’s not where you are now it’s the end of the season that counts.
  19. We know how Bolton play, lots of passing from the back building through the thirds. I think Pompey play a very similar style to us. A bit more direct and lots of pressing and energy. Very even game although that is miss of the season from Dion Charles
  20. Getting stabbed might have had something to do with it. Never the same player after that. Dread to think the impact that episode would’ve had on his mental health.
