  1. The EFL statement seems intentionally vague in a sabre-rattling exercise by the EFL. All we can tell is that we have been issued a fine and asked to resubmit accounts. Doesn't say what will happen with those accounts - whether there will be anything following the submission of the accounts. I'm inferring that they are posturing that if those accounts are dodgy they (EFL) will appeal the decision again. The interchangeable fixture list thing seems to be a veiled threat...

This is all great for the fans isn't it?

Anybody having any trouble with the stream today? I’ve paid the £10 and there’s just a pink screen? It’s worked the last few times I’ve done it. Only difference is that the game was 20 minutes in today? Any help would be appreciated so I can hopefully watch the second half

Having issues too. Neither app nor website working for me on Android.

Getting slightly annoyed at paying for Rams TV every month and not getting the games. 2 out of 3 games so far this season have not been available. Maybe it is just how it has fallen but starting to question the value of my monthly subscription

Being messed around by this rights nonsense is really frustrating. I live in Japan and last year had access to most games until half way through the season. At this juncture, the EFL had sold the rights to a company in Japan for a number of games. I couldn't watch these games on RamsTV anymore. But the really frustrating thing was that (as far as I could find) the games weren't being televised in Japan either. So nobody in Japan could watch these games because the rights were bought by a company that didn't show the games! Farcical.

Luckily, Japan is back to being a 'dark market', so I can watch most games on RamsTV this season (or until it changes, if it does).

That’s a shame. The forest game was on recently so strange they’re not showing Leeds. Too dirty for Japanese sensitivities!

Maybe they will update the schedule later this week. I hope so.

Have a mate abroad who’s got DAZN and it seems to show everything and is dirt cheap comparatively.

I've checked the schedule and it doesn't look like the Leeds game is being shown on DAZN in Japan. So, I've got my fingers crossed that Rams TV will show it here. Otherwise, there don't seem to be any options to watch it...

  6. So I think I've determined that, all of a sudden, the games that are selected for television are no longer available on RamsTV in Japan. This is frustrating because I can't for the life of me find them televised anywhere in Japan. Does anybody on here know any more than me? Anybody in Japan for example?

    Thanks.

My preference is FOR the Radio Derby team, not AGAINST the Rams TV commentary TBH.

Jack's not my favourite but I don't really have an issue with his commentary.

But, as an Australian, Radio Derby has been my connection to the club for years. I was an early subscriber to the previous app (the name of which momentarily escapes me) and switched to Rams TV from the start.

For all of the frustrating aspects of the Radio Derby coverage, I'm used to channelling my passion for the club via Rampage...and enjoy him for almost the same reasons most Derbyshire-based fans find him annoying.

    Hear hear!

This is almost exactly how I feel about it. Grew up in Derby, now live in Tokyo, previously lived in Australia. Radio Derby has offered a connection to the club for years. I like listening to Ramage and Ed.

I try to sync the video with Radio Derby every match but that's because I prefer RD. It's not because I hate the video commentary - I don't.  It's fine.

I suppose one thing I've noticed is that it feels and sounds as though the RD team are right in the thick of it at the game, whereas the in-house commentary team is sitting in a room watching a TV screen.  Not sure whether that's the reality and I admit that I haven't listened to it much to really know whether this is always the case.

It's nice to have the choice.

I’m told it was in the PR beforehand, though I admit I haven’t read any of it myself.

I’m sure other games will be picked for Sky/Pitch International, yes. Again, I think it’s usually advertised in advance.

I guess that exception list will need updating then?

Although its not like I can actually find anywhere that is broadcasting the match here.

    Hi folks,

The game today isn’t available worldwide because it’s been picked by Pitch International.

That means it’s only available in selected countries that aren’t covered by that deal.

That should have been made clearer beforehand, so sorry for that.

    Owen

We really should have been given a heads up about this.

    Will this happen again?

Unfortunately it is not worldwide. Just the UK and countries where the EFL do not have a broadcasting rights agreement because the game has been picked by another broadcaster (Pitch International). If you're abroad an cant watch because of this then maybe you could take a 'connecting flight' to one of these countries https://www.dcfc.co.uk/page/ramstv-availability-for-tv-games?nocache=1 where the game will be available

I am in Japan and not able to watch...

Sounds like it’s not just me then. Has anyone got the same error message as my earlier post?

    My error message is:

    "Unauthorized country"

"We're sorry, this content is only available in certain countries"

This is very frustrating. I am in Japan - one of the countries on the 'exception' list.

  12. What the?? I am in Japan (one of the countries on the list mentioned above) and I am getting an error message saying that I am in an unauthorised country.

There is no other option to watch this.

    No warning.

Is this it from now on then? No more live games?!?!

  13. I wish they'd show replays of controversial incidents for us viewing from home (and overseas). It seems that the feed that we are watching is the feed that goes into the stadium and as a result we don't get to see the controversial incidents. Is there any way that the club could do two different feeds? One for us at home and one for the stadium?

Just in case anybody from the club is reading this.
