Not actually a suggestion, but been told today Andy Carroll is keeping fit at Dcfc, Anyone else heard this? this isn’t itk or anything , just something I have been told.

Tbf I think if fit he could have played alongside CKR if we were playing 2 upfront like we did with Gregory and scored a few goals, but overall he is a signing that for one reason or another hasn’t worked out.

Just a thought, but maybe we already know the outcome, but have had to change the way we do things, hence the reason we are being linked with the likes of Crooks etc, who will not a fortune and will fit into a more stringent wages structure. The big problem is the likes of waggy, Curt and Andre are on far bigger wages than we can now afford and there hoping for a better offer elsewhere, which we can’t match.

A lot of foreign players take a while to settle in a new country, I mean Beilek was getting criticism on here when he first came, and he had come from Arsenal not directly from Poland, personally I think you will see a far better Jozwiak next season if we keep him, we have seen glimpses from him, but not consistently.

Most clubs won't confirm signings yet, because they may have to go on the payroll probably earlier than the club want, do we always go into meltdown in June every year? ? we don't know what is going on behind the scenes, just a thought but maybe it may be a busy week. We have had the retained list, rumours of possible news of the efl hearing and possibly maybe the takeover is closer than we may think, hence stripping the squads down so there is a bigger wage budget ( I am being optimistic, I know).

Sounds like waggy won't be staying either if reports are to be believed, but Mengi will be coming back.

I agree from the outside we seem a mess, but stranger things have happened.

On the likes of the young lads, personally I think it will make them better players in the long term.

He used to be a good player, always rated him, but hasn’t done a lot recently, depends if he has the hunger still, one thing that bothers me, where would he play? I presume attacking midfield, which is Lawrence’s best position and Sibley’s.

Surely we would be able to appeal if the decision went against us this time? If so this could drag on for a few more months yet.

Out of curiosity, if for say Leeds offered us 3 million and Tyler Roberts for Sisley,would you be inclined to accept? It would give us more flexibility for WR to bring in more players he wants? I personally wouldn’t want sibley to go, but sometimes you have to sell you better player/players to develop a better team.

    I remember when The bald Eagle came in and was forced to sell our better players, but we ended up with a better team overall eventually. I do say though WR has brought this group of players together, they fight and scrap for each other.

Just wonder if we can’t do anything until it’s confirmed that wages have been paid today? Not only that but if players have agreed to come, that they are waiting for confirmation of the club paying wages today. It’s certainly a mess, the non takeover has hit us bad, and to be honest other than Niasse he would be the only free agent worth pursuing. 

Ordered mine yesterday, Xmas prezzie from the Mrs, but somehow I’ve had to pay for it!!!  Work that one out ????‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️
