Windy, small pitch and bobbly pitch…. there’s some excuses. We need to show some tempo second half, starting with Wildsmith. His distribution needs to find a Derby player, not just a boot up the pitch.

We all know how important this game is. For confidence and belief that we’re going to do it. Fans, players management…. all in it together. It’s just about the points today, nothing else. Fingers crossed everyone, enjoy the ride as much as it is possible to do 😂

No problem with any of the above. (Apologies if you felt I inferred that sitting fans were lesser fans than those standing)

There was an issue in the East Stand upper one block away from the away fans. A fan was shoved three rows downwards by another who had apparently asked him to stop standing up. Pushed fan was ejected by the stewards… The first block could be made safe standing (obviously it’s going pi** some ST holders off) but IMO, it makes for a better atmosphere when the away fans are surrounded by noise…

Great day. As Warne said earlier in the week, not about performance today, just the result. Still enjoyed it. The tension, the fabulous commitment from the lads and a reminder what a great place Pride Park can be!!

Of course we had a huge helping hand from the ref. The positives… great performance first half, passing quickly to white shirts, a pattern of play, some decent chances, the result. Negatives… should have done better against 10 men, felt the pressure got to us and tried to rush the third goal. Overall, it’s the points that matter now COYR!

Got to echo this. Haven’t been a fan of our football but that half was very enjoyable. Could have been two up. And that would be deserved

The amount of time both teams have taken over throws and free kicks is ridiculous. We’re destroying our own tempo. Keep the ball in the floor and we should win this. Bristol are awful

I’m no tactical genius but I disagree with your assessment. I didn’t ever feel like we looked in control. Charlton kept the ball better and I always thought they were a “missed tackle” or mistake (as it happened) away from getting in. We looked v v poor in possession after the first 15 and never looked like scoring a second goal. As at Barnsley, we looked more urgent in the last 10, largely to the opposition sitting on their lead

Was involved in our best move with a little back heel. Has got a good first touch. Bad signing for the style of football we played last night. Nothing along the floor. No midfielder to slip him in.

I don’t believe Warne believes that we have another gear in us. I think he feels others have better squads (for this type of division)
