Listened to Paul Warne interview on RamsTV. Honest and as disappointed as everyone on here. He’s said on a few occasions now that they keep telling the players that, to paraphrase, they “have to turn up”. It’s a minimum requirement and yet he’s had to say it a few times. Also, these players are playing in front of a small crowd. Why the panicky football?

I’m sure the vast majority do. I just think it may help improve the atmosphere/occasion at times, thereby, hopefully, helping our team too.

I went to the last game we played at Florist and commented on here how many of their lot had colours on (shirts, scarves, hats etc) and someone replied it was something they were pushing on social media for that particular game. Seems to have stuck, maybe we could do similar?

Anyone think we need a bit more club colours in our stands? Always appears quite dark. Think you’d be hard pressed to guess which home crowd it was from a photo. Unless black and white just doesn’t stick out or our lot don’t do scarves 😂

Agree. There was one occasion that the ball was running away from Marriot to Nelson. Nelson just belted it when there was a simple forward pass on. However, it did feel like we didn’t have many options sometimes. Midfield against our own back line and no simple out ball

Just listed to PW post match interview on RamsTV. Saw the game v honestly. What do people think he means when he says we over “complicated” things in the second half. I assume he means when Fleetwood were on top but what did he want us to do?

Vickers actually passed the ball out a few times and once through it out quickly to get us going. Something Wildsmith doesn’t do

Regardless of formation or personnel, our passing was really poor between 55 mins and their goal. Just sloppy. Don’t know where that comes from but against a better (or more clinical) team, we will get punished.

On the goal keeping distribution front…. I don’t know if it’s my position in the East Stand (Upper, next to the away fans) but Wildsmith seems always to kick long when there is a pass on to one of the defenders. Are the attackers closer to the defender than it looks or do people think Wildsmith doesn’t trust himself and would rather hoof it safe even though, more often than not, it leads to a turnover of possession

Annoyingly, we don’t ever try this. Not even on the rare occasion when the game is won. Just adds to our predictability. We may not have the players to rotate the likes of NML but maybe Warne should consider giving him the 20/30 mins at the end of the match. Play our second half team from yesterday first half sort of thing…

It’s telling that when, on the rare occasion, we make a simple triangle of passes in midfield it draws a ripple of applause from our crowd. If we our midfield played like Peterborough’s, the crowd would have really up for it. Whereas the Peterborough fans seemed to see some of their play through the thirds as “ordinary”. We really don’t seem to know what to do with the ball in the midfield. We have very little movement off the ball. Even simple movement. I assume we are not training for this. The amount of times our midfield manage to put the ball in the air at knee or chest height after a couple of passes is infuriating.

I thought the atmosphere was a little flat yesterday like a lot of home games this season. The possession stats didn’t help and quick turnovers of possession that go with it. As @CBRammettesaid, seems to be a pattern in recent years; big crowd, disappointing game and quiet. We need the atmosphere for the second half of the season. COYR!

Either through setup or transfer window, we need to control or at least compete in the midfield area against the better teams like Boro today. Our 2 needed help. 433
