  1. Warne makes no secret of how he sees the game successfully played in League One. Athletic players that get the ball down the channels and into the box. He said in an interview earlier in the season that it’s much more difficult (he may have said intricate) to create goal chances through the midfield. He’s also said that most championship sides play the same way (different to L1). If he gets us up, he deserves a chance to have a go at the Championship. He’s an honest bloke and I suspect will give us his thoughts on the style of play he wants to adopt in the championship once we get there and not before. Also, I would have thought the Clowes has had this discussion with him before he gave him the job.
  2. Glad we scored the set pieces in the first half (we’d have been disappointed to say the least to let those type of goals in at our end). We are much better at counter attacking rather than breaking a team down, and as Warne said, when the game became more open, we did actually create some decent opportunities from open play, helped hugely by Orient’s high defensive line. Let’s hope for some more set piece magic on Saturday or maybe Cambridge will come at us?👍🏽
  3. Just back from a gig in Leeds. Yes, I do get to away games (unfortunately, missing out on Cambridge but a quite a few of the Punjabi Rams will be there. I’ll def catch you at some away games next season 👍🏽
  4. Nice to meet you pitch side earlier @angieram
  5. Fair gif mate, I quoted a post and it didn’t come across, just my sentence 🙏🏽🤷🏽‍♂️🤣
  6. Some don’t like Warne’s football (me included) but it’s very childish for some posters to accuse Derby fans of wanting to lose to prove a point. I hope we get promotion. I will be overjoyed for weeks but will hardly remember any of the football
  7. Remember when you used to practice keepy uppies and you were getting close to your record and then the ball started to drift away and you were reaching for it to try and get the record breaking touch? That’s Derby after three passes
  8. Warne talks of halves of football and not wasting one. Well, we didn’t waste one, we wasted two. Love to know what the emphasis of the halftime team talk was.
  9. It’s like we wait for the board to go up for injury time and then urgency kicks in
  10. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Urgency and tempo 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  11. Once it’s not working for the wide men, we just don’t know how to change the play to go through the middle. We carry on doing the same patterns over and over. I think Warne doesn’t want touches in midfield in case we lose the ball and it’s 2 v 3. The job of Smith and Adams is to scrap for it and move it wide and not much else. The ball rarely got to Collins from midfield if at all. So predictable. Got to about 65 mins and I just thought we were never gonna score.

  13. I think having two in the middle , the two wide men not offering anything soon levels up any lack of energy Wycombe may have had
  14. We need to play a little through the middle. Wycombe defending the wings easily at the moment and we look predictable. We’re also wasting our won time from goal kicks. Take time to pass it out. Pass it out for it to come back after a few passes and then long anyway🤷🏽‍♂️
  15. Wycombe looking the better sidel; passing through the thirds easily at times
  16. Feels like CBT miss has disrupted us. Wycombe keeping the ball better
  17. Stick with Wildsmith. Just tell him to maybe break out into a trot when fetching the ball for goal kicks. His body language always screams “slow down”. Not what we need tonight unless we’re winning.
  18. I don’t think there’s much to say. We’ll have to wait and see. That’s the worst bit 🤣
  19. We all expected a Bolton win today. Shame they got a second goal but hey ho. Let’s get the three points on Wednesday by hook or crook and the pressure is back on them..
  20. It’s a shame. They’ll no doubt be using the old adage of play badly but win….
