Same as last tear then? When they directed both sets of fans into each other on the same route away from the stadium? Dod we get any young crackheads turn up by train absolutely pie-eyed like last year?

I think Barnsley council spending £12 million on a new bridge had something to do with that. Don't have to walk past the station to get into town now so fans can be on opposite sides of the road while shouting obscenities at each other. Need less police for that I suppose...

I was walking next to a few young tykes who were going over the bridge to be able to shout at Derby fans from the safety of platform 2, bless em

  2. He was the ref in the same fixture last season... The Devante Cole "goal"  when he gave the goal, then went to the lino for a chat, then after the lino then flagged for offside gave it offside. Then after talking to Devante Cole decided to change his mind again and give the goal... Bizarre 2 minutes. I don't think he's biased towards Barnsley, I think he's just poo.

Also I'm gutted I couldn't get a ticket in the away end, but I'll be secretly cheering us on from the West stand just behind the dugout. COYR

  3. So Ipswich, Wednesday, Plymouth et al last season could spent money and improve their teams with a lot more freedom than we can currently. Ipswich (and Sunderland previously) had a fair few seasons down in league one before they clicked and went up, this our second season starting from scratch so I think it's optimistic to expect to be in a much better position than we are in now.

I think if we had no restrictions financially for a season or two, we'd be in a much stronger position and would fair much better if/when we went back up to the Champ. If we go up this year we'd have to spend a lot more to compete and would potentially struggle...

Personally I'd be happy to consolidate financially and build over a few seasons before achieving successive promotions and challenging for European football after VAR has been scrapped for sucking the life and enjoyment out of football.

  4. He was a beast at Barnsley, good in the air, quick and very strong. Played at RWB and was one of their best players, that was like 8 years ago or something though. Tarn fans were gutted when he left

Doncaster is not a nice area, I grew up there and still live only a few miles away. Nothing has changed for the better since I left.

Yeah the city centre is and always has been a dump, but the village I grew up in and surrounding area is really nice.

  6. I've watched him a few times at Donny and he might well fit into a Warne system, loads of energy, doesn't stop running and could play off a target man (if we sign one), he did really well with John Marquis. Also, his Mrs is from near Donny so might want to move back up there - it's a nice area contrary to popular belief! And it's not a bad run down to Derby from there, I've got a feeling Warne will make this happen

I like watching Rugby (union) but wouldn’t profess to fully understand all the rules but surely the only natural breaks in play are when points are scored or the ball goes out of play. So, pretty much the same as football. The only other time is when the ref is considering a penalty/possible infringement which aren’t natural breaks. I think the reason it works so much better in rugby union is because we, the TV viewers, can here the conversation and so there is no hiding place and decisions are explained.

I think the fact that the (rugby) players are so much more respectful, don't argue and generally don't try and hoodwink the ref helps as well...

"They" is the administrators in this instance. If you read it fully it's easy to understand that's it's written by RamsTrust, not Quantuma as has been suggested.

To save pages of deeply analysing every word, @RamsfanJim (Jim Wheeler) I'm sure would be able to confirm this.

Also, if THEY are standing by the view they are not football creditors then that means THEY have had a view previously. The QCs don't appear to have had a view before, Q have.
