  1. He is incapable of for-filling his contract.  If my company could not do that, the contract would be cancelled, with immediate effect, because the company that gave me the contract has an expectation that I would deliver what I promised.

If something happened during the contract, accidental damage, insurances are there to cover the cost.

However if I went out, and took all the people that I was responsible for and got smashed off their faces, and the next day they failed to deliver, I would fully expect my P45, at the very least, and possible legal action for loss of earnings from the business.

He was the captain, the most senior player there.  He failed, he got that drunk he was incapable of looking after himself or the younger players there.

As for the rest, Bennett and Lawerence got caught and where punished to full extent the law and club saw fit.  I expect if they got jail time, rare for a first offense, 2 more P45's would be on the printer tray.  The others there, either got away with it, or got taxi's.

There is something in the highway code also about 'making good progress'. So while it isnt a target no, its also an indicator of the maximum safe speed to drive on that road. If there is a school the speed limit will often be limited to 20. And those parking either side of the road cause more danger than those cars driving along it.

No there is not.  It is an expectation of examiners during the driving test.  It is to identify drivers that are not confident too drive with traffic flow.

  3. Babies are actually tougher than people realise, they are programmed to let you know what they need.  Look after the mum as much as the baby, they don't let people know what they need, because they are too focused on the baby, that quite frankly, doesn't need that much attention.

That’s because, as of May last year, they are breaking the law by calling you when they do not get your prior agreement that it is ok. Not an absence of refusal (ie not ticking the ‘I would not like’ box) but actually ticking the ‘I would like’ box.

The fines are potentially massive - based on turnover. Hence their buying you off with a freebie.

GDPR was a key lever I used, they knew little about it, quite easy to beat them up.

  6. Companies that call you to sell you stuff, even though you clearly pointed it out for them not too.  Sky, signed up a while ago when offered a ridiculously good deal, made it very clear I wanted no calls, no post or emails unless it was directly to do with payments or faults.  Bloke called, so I asked is there a problem, he said no, I said is this a sales call, he said no.  I asked why the call?  He said he could up grade me to sky sports for £10 a month.  I said so it is a sales call, he said no it was an upgrade call....couple of mangers later, two months free Sky.  Now that is an upgrade!

I'm fine with swallowing (opening myself here for some belters), it's the idea of medication, never been a fan. Any pain I've always been a pass us a can of beer of the fridge that will sort it kinda guy.

Fair enough, misinterpreted your point.  I am similar, damaged my upper left arm and  was on some major pain killers, made me ill.  Stopped taking them and took up meditation, worked wonders.

How does that annoy you? ?‍♂️

General lack of ability to scan bar codes, not waiting for the light to go green before scanning the next item, inability to see when one is free, as @ThePrisoner mentioned, ill prepared regarding bags, usually lack of, assistant no where to be seen when you are buying alcohol, people using 'card only' and then try to pay cash, or visa versa.

    Just for starters.

You mean 'the States', surely? Or are you saying that you exist somewhere between solid and liquid in some sort of plasma flow?

As for where you live, couldn't give a tinker's cuss.

If you didn't give a cuss, why reply. I wasn't paying attention, you got what I meant.

However, if you want to know what 'state' I would say, it would be Bose-Einstein condensates.

around 3 years ago in the August whilst taking a multivitamin I swallowed my partial denture for a tooth I broke and had to have removed

For what is worth, any denture has to be manufactured to the same standard of food.  That is true to anything you put into your mouth, including cigarette butts.

You stomach acid would have dissolved the denture, the acid in the stomach can dissolve steel. Please don't swallow a spoon to test this!
