  1. Was that just after Nigel referred to Boston as "that fat convicted tax fraudsters team"?
  2. Indeed so. The gap between the "haves" and "have nots" appears to be widening. No sign of the British voting in a strongman tho.......
  3. Have you seen Eastleigh high street Ramit?
  4. There was quite a lot of criticism for a while that Warne made changes too late. Has this been addressed recently? Yesterday seemed more astute...mind, last week he was getting some cheek for taking nyambe off 5 mins from the end.....
  5. Or possibly both, in one game. Along with another random formation he dreams up in the pub with Ritchie.....
  6. So does Warne deploy the solidly defensive team again, or do we go 4-3-3 and aim to pick them off on the break earlier?
  7. Prime Curtains. Don't ever change mate.
  8. Even I, the Master of Misery, the Prince of Pusillanimity, the Czar of Criticism admit that I feel a warm waft of satisfaction this evening at the outcome today. Or I've soiled myself....
  9. Hang on, isn't he the League 1 guardiola any more?
  10. Oh dear, Curtis just bagged an og for Port Vale....
  11. That's disappointing. We've usually managed to get a toe-pecker off by about minute 35.....
  12. BBC reporter just said "it's Derby 0 stevenage 0 and it's not as exciting as that sounds".....
  13. Could do with something happening to entertain. Perhaps a fatty Evans seizure?
  14. If it's a tactical thing rather than out of necessity maybe he'll change it like he did against Shrewsbury.....
  15. From the fabulously named Thierry Small. Or perhaps it was little Henry...
  16. Hm. Each time recently that we've brought on extra defenders to stay solid and see our a win, we've cocked up. This will be interesting....
  17. We might realize a loss if Warne doesn't play him which will restrict the budget further tho...
  18. Whilst you're no doubt correct about the set up, I think the suspicion is that Paul Warnes list of "jolly good chap" characteristics is a) quite long and b) restrictive so we end up pursuing few alternatives. We seemed to be spending a long time chasing one or two names. Lee Gregory was one repeatedly mentioned. With all the factors you've listed, we probably need a shortlist of 4-5 but only ever appear to have 1-2. Perhaps Warne needs to be a bit less choosy?
