From what I’ve seen of Jack Thompson and what I’ve heard, baring in mind he’s playing for England u17’s and I believe from when I spoke to a coach I know at the academy, he has been to every single camp for England since he was u15, he definitely has the experience needed and must be a much better gk than shattell even though he is a year younger. Apparently shattell played last game of the season Vs Burnley for the u16 last year and wasn’t anything special 

Just seen this on my twitter feed, I believe endur sports is a business ran by the kit man for the academy from looking at the account, but really good to see Jack Thompson away with England again 

Jack Thompson and price are the two u16 keepers this season however Jack Thompson appears to be with the 18s and 21s, he played for the 21’s again tonight vs belper and played very well I thought. 
roberts is now u21 with evans being a second year scholar and the lad from Fulham being the first year 

23’s played against Loughborough at Moor farm today 

i believe it finished 3-3 with like the first team, them playing a first half XI and a second half XI, the 23’s did the same 

lots of minutes going round with a few first years getting minutes and also u16 gk Jack Thompson who seems to be carrying on where he left off last season when he was with the first team regularly 

Jack Thompson started for the u18’s today. Considering he’s only 15 it’s been a crazy week for him. Travelled with u23’s to West Ham on Monday, trained with the first team on Thursday and played for the 18’s today. I watched the game as I only live 5 minutes away and thought he was Superb. His communication and character is outstanding for such a young lad. One to watch out for in the future for the first team

He’s been involved with England 7 times this season I believe. Pretty sure he’s been in every squad. Top 6 clubs be snooping in for him very soon I imagine 

U15’s lost on penalties to Sunderland in the floodlit cup semi final. A MOM performance from Jack Thompson who was superb all game apparently. I hear he’s a huge talent
