The Rams have been in talks with the former Scottish champions for some time and yesterday had what was said to be their third bid accepted. Russell, pictured, must now decide if he wants to pull on a Derby shirt for real. The likes of Celtic, Huddersfield Town, Sheffield United and Italian club Catania are also interested in the 23-year-old, who scored 20 goals last season. The transfer is expected to be concluded after the player has completed the necessary formalities early next week. Importantly, the Club is working extremely hard to bring in quality new players with a view to strengthening the squad for the upcoming season.
