I nearly had an aneurysm after that! Had their first team goalkeeper just gone off before the penalty aswell? I seem to remember the fans mocking the sub goalie after a couple of goals. Lee Carsley scoring a goal like that, lovely. Tell you what's frustrating, is that those Jim Smith days were within my lifetime, but not within memory. Since I've been going, from the age of 4 onwards, we've only finished in a top half of a table three times - 03/04, 05/06, and last season. Being a Derby fan is utterly miserable. But I wouldn't swap it for anything, and it makes those magical moments like the play-off semi finals and the El Cloughico wins all the sweeter.
