randombc
Sounds like what the yanks are doing at Derby but the manager and Pearson weren't happy about the cost cutting strategy

Guest
The new Peter Ridsdale? Appears to making promises that he can't keep or has no direct influence over, wonder if the same thing happened when he brought GSE to the table?
Ambitious
I like Adam Pearson but overall he is a fan, and that is something that clouds his judgement. Doesn't like being involved with cost cutting, happened here and now Hull seem to have gone into meltdown he was clearly unhappy at the owners who then sacked him, making them very unpopular as Pearson was a very high regarded figure there! networker1884
http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/17927073 Hull City have sacked boss Nick Barmby after less than six months in charge, BBC Radio Humberside understands. The club are set to make a statement at 1600 BST announcing the former Tigers player's departure, following an internal disciplinary hearing. It was heavily rumoured Barmby had been suspended by the club last week over comments he made in the media about the club's finances. The 38-year-old won 13 of his 33 games during his tenure as Tigers boss. Former England international Barmby, who retired from playing shortly before taking over as manager in January, made 180 league appearances for Hull after joining his hometown club from Leeds in 2004. He initially took over in a caretaker capacity following Nigel Pearson's return to Leicester City in November. The Tigers, who were relegated from the top flight at the end of the 2009-10 campaign, finished eighth in the Championship this season, five points off the play-offs. Former Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies has already been linked with the vacancy, while ex-Tigers boss Phil Brown admitted on BBC Late Kick Off Yorkshire and Lincolnshire that he "would love" to go back to the club he led into the Premier League four years ago.
