Shogun
Had to base most of it on research but he's always been a hero of mine. Sent a few PM's out with it but wondering whether anyone can give me some feedback? thanks http://www.otc-forums.com/index.php?/page/index.html/_/shotgunscolomn/the-greatest-manager-england-never-had-r61
the464444
I'd like to point out that there's a statue of him and Peter Taylor outside Pride Park. A statue that is far superior to either statue that has been "dedicated to him in both Middlesborough and Nottingham". My feedback would be, do more statue-based research. blackNwhites
Few spelling mistakes and the black background and white lettering totally screws with my eyes. Good choice of shades, but ouch. Good read thus far, just taking a break to help with the eye strain. I can still see weird lines on my screen now! Oh yeah, you should include more of Peter Taylor in there. They were a team effort. networker1884
Lets face it, he wasn't just the "Greatest manager England never had"...but he was by far better than a lot of the crap Englad has had.
Pearl Ram
Hope I don't come across as pedantic but the things that stuck out to me were, random capital letters when there shouldn't Have been (see what I did there ?) 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />. There is no "s" in Hartlepool, and technically, Clough moved up the road to Sunderland as it is north of Middlesbrough. A good effort although it didn't tell me anything I didn't already know but to someone with little knowledge of the great man, a reasonable introduction to one of the game's finest. * I might have put something like "Although Clough achieved his highest profile cup wins at Nottingham Forest, it is widely known he was at his happiest at Derby County and that was where his heart remained". Even if some might say that could be an exaggeration, it would wind some of them up from across the 52. blackNwhites
Hartlepool was formerly known as Hartlepools, I believe. Hartlepools United.
Pearl Ram
In 1968 the "s" and United were dropped from their name with United being restored in 1977. I just wiki'ed it, I never knew that, nice one. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> *it didn't tell me anything I didn't know about Clough, but it taught me there was once an "s" in Hartlepool.
