-JW-
Had a look at a huddersfield forum earlier and the majority were really pleased that he has gone, and they think he did a poor job, should have got promoted last year with the resources he had. mcsilks
I wonder if it's dirty leeds or Wolves he's heading to? I doubt it as he was sacked. One doesn't usually recieve a promotion after a sacking though it's not unheard of.

james_ram
Tbh theyve spent a hell of a lot of money and havent really looked like breaking into the automatic promotion group, they should be where charlton are now, a lot of their fans feel he is a cheque book manager and plays to negative football, on the face of it, it looks like a bad decision but only time will tell if it works out or not. Ambitious
they haven't spent anywhere near the amount people are suggesting, they've had a lot of money come into the club with sales to Pilkington, Peltier...etc Very good manager, why huddersfield sacked him is beyond me would be great for Leeds, dare I say. RotherhamRam
This sacking for me is unbelievable. People I know who go and watch Sheff Wed and Utd all say they do not look forward to playing them. What makes them think a new manager will get them up. p.shilton
That's often the trouble when rich owners come in- they chuck money about and think that they have a right to be successful immediately. When they don't they throw their toys out and sack the manager, with no thought that maybe a team needs to settle down before they can be judged. Happened at Chelsea and Man City
DerbyRam!
Just so people know, he was sacked because he applied for the leeds job while still at huddersfield 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> owners didnt like it one bit 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />
p.shilton
Naughty man- I suppose it depends what it says in his contract. If he is going for unfair dismissal he probably thinks that he has a chance of compensation.
